Frozen Shoulder Treatment - How to Accept Frozen Shoulder Symptoms
If you've read my other frozen shoulder articles or visited my frozen shoulder website (details below) then you definitely now know a great deal about frozen shoulder and about the variety of frozen shoulder treatment.

I'm sure that the data you've gained is already assisting you to deal with your frozen shoulder symptoms and I truly hope that you have found a health care provider or therapist who has helped you will find some pain relief.

But what if you have not - or if perhaps you've gained only partial rest from your frozen shoulder treatment? What follows are my some tips for surviving with your shoulder symptoms until nature works her magic. Remember - make sure - you will get through this and you'll soon come back to full normal function without pain or discomfort.

First tip for frozen shoulder treatment: Keep your shoulder warm!

I am aware it almost sounds too obvious nevertheless it works! Use warm or hot compresses (or obtain a heating pad) and then use it over your shoulder four to five times each day for a quarter-hour at any given time. It also is effective applied in your armpit - the heat travels up to the shoulder.

Lots of my frozen shoulder patients also have found great relief - particularly at night - using a heated pad or thermal blanket. There are a variety of moderately sophisticated products available, plus a selection of other inexpensive options, most of which you simply heat within the microwave before use. You'll find specifics of these products online links below.

Second tip for frozen shoulder treatment: Sleep having an extra pillow!

No - not really a pillow for your head, but a pillow below your shoulder on the affected side. Loss of sleep through the night causes it to be harder to handle shoulder pain throughout the day and if you roll to the painful shoulder when asleep you may awaken hurting. Sleep face up using the extra pillow below your sore shoulder.

Frozen shoulder treatment tip number three: Massage helps your shoulder pain!

The pain of frozen shoulder comes from the joint but the surrounding muscles may become very tired and tense. Massage can produce good short-term pain relief. A family member, a friend or professional masseur could help using this. Just like heated pads, there are a number of self massaging devices available and you can find more information on my website by following the hyperlinks below.

Fourth tip for frozen shoulder treatment: Try dietary supplements!

Natural goods like glucosamine or fish oils have been shown to ease joint pains and stiffness. Some herbal remedies have pain-relieving properties. This does not work with everyone but could be worth a go for the frozen shoulder pain.
I've had particular success recently with products according to honeybee venom. Using honeybee venom is founded on the long-known fact that bee keepers (who often get stung) rarely develop arthritis or issues with their muscles and joints.

Now - the braver amongst you (excluding me I hasten to add) might volunteer for traditional "bee sting therapy" what your location is exposed to repeated stings from a succession of bees located in tweezers!
Many of us would feel more comfortable simply applying the bee sting venom by means of a balm to be rubbed in to the painful or stiff area. In reality, I was a bit sceptical about all this at first, but a lot of my patients have had significant advantage looking at the use and that i recommend you provide it a try in case you are interested. It's certainly a very natural method of getting pain alleviation.

Fifth tip for frozen shoulder treatment: Buy or borrow a TENS machine!

TENS - or trans cutaneous electrical nerve stimulation is a good and safe way to induce pain alleviation plus some muscle relaxation. It functions by stimulating skin nerves and thus encourages the brain to pay for less focus on the incoming pain signals from your joint. It won't appear to work with everyone but may be well worth an attempt.

Frozen shoulder treatment tip number six: Strap or keep the arm every once in awhile!

If your shoulder is in the frozen stage then support from a simple strap can be of great value. Be careful of strapping a lot of in the other phases of the condition. You might simply let the shoulder to keep stiff for longer. As before, the website links below give details of strapping and support products.

Final tip for frozen shoulder treatment: Consider short-term medication to enhance sleep
